It’s been a year and a half since the new owners of the Oneida Park Center bought the business block on Oneida Street between 22nd and 23rd avenues, and changes are starting to come together. Ester’s at Oneida Park, which will be a pub and restaurant, is under construction at the site of the former corner store, at 22nd Avenue. The liquor store that also used to be there has moved to the north side of the block. Park Hill Vet is expanding its space, with the Zen Den Pet Spa next door. Spicy Thai II restaurant is also on the west side of the street. On the east side, the Famous Philly Cheese Steak restaurant is open, along with Love Fashion Nails and a hair salon. Allegra’s Pizza has closed, as has the short-lived Red Sauce restaurant. Flex Yoga and Barre has opened, on 23rd Avenue where a laundromat used to be.
